Welcome!

We strive to help our young people build a personal relationship with Christ and reach out and make a difference in the world. We provide multiple opportunities for faith development.

Sunday School
Our dynamic Sunday School meets at 9:00 AM during the School Year. We provide classes for three year olds through high school. Our Sunday School students learn the story of Jesus’ birth by preparing a Christmas Program which is presented in December during the 10:30 AM service. Contact Sonya Sowards, our Coordinator of Faith Development  for more information.

First Holy Communion and Confirmation
Middle School students deepen their faith by also participating in our Wednesday evening 3-in-1 program during the School Year. Students from the many school districts we serve arrive at 6:00 PM for dinner, where friendships are strengthened. Following dinner, students participate in a practical faith development activity. Finally we turn to the study of Martin Luther’s Small Catechism.

Our Confirmands learn the Christmas story by preparing the Living Nativity at the 5:00 PM Christmas Eve Service. They learn the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection by presenting the Stations of the Cross service on Good Friday at 7:00 PM.

Sixth graders are prepared to receive their First Holy Communion on Easter Sunday. Seventh and eighth graders are prepared to affirm their faith through the Rite of Confirmation at the end of eighth grade. Confirmation tales place on the Day of Pentecost.

Youth Groups
Our High School Youth Groups serve as a safe place for young people to build healthy relationships, ask questions, and help others. Activities include mission trips, Christmas caroling to shut-ins, community projects, and social events. Contact Joe Schaffer for more information.
